The Survey CAD Technician uses AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support civil engineers and surveyors by producing high-quality design and drafting deliverables for survey, municipal, and land development projects. This role focuses on creating accurate drawings, layouts, and diagrams from sketches, field data, and engineering input, initially supporting a large survey project and then contributing to a variety of civil and land development assignments.
Responsibilities
This role is primarily office-based and supports a mix of survey, municipal, and land development projects using modern CAD tools and civil design software. The position typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule with flexible hours, totaling approximately 40–50 hours per week depending on project demands. The first 90 days are fully in-office (5 days per week) to support training, onboarding, and collaboration with the survey and engineering teams. After the initial training period, the role transitions to a hybrid arrangement, with approximately 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week remote. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
