Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 333-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus including at a network of Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

The Surgery Scheduler coordinates all details involved in scheduling surgeries. This position is responsible for maintaining physicians' outlook calendars to be current and up to date with their surgery schedule.
This surgery scheduler position for this large OBGYN Department requires clinical background knowledge. LPN is preferred candidate but candidates with experience in surgery scheduling for large practice are welcome to apply.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented with the critical thinking skills a must. The ability to multitask and ensure that the OR case load is evaluated / managed for maximum cases appropriately scheduled to OR. Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary in communicating with physicians, OR team, Nursing and patients. High volume of phone communication, focus on customer service and in depth attention to detail are required.
