Surg Tech CVOR – Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and supporting the surgical team.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Current CST certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). (Required)
  • BLS certification. (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified CVOR technologist or surgical technologist with documented open heart/cardiac operating room experience. (Required)
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical record. (Required)
  • Clinical experience across multiple specialties such as orthopedic, neurosurgery, da Vinci robotic-assisted procedures, general surgery, gynecology, and podiatry. (Preferred)
  • Ability to scrub and function as surgical assist in cardiac (open heart) cases and cover other surgical cases when cardiac cases are not scheduled. (Required)
  • Valid driver’s license and permanent home address on submission; candidate must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility (travel-only candidates). (Client requirement)
  • Required documentation must be attached at time of submission including licenses and certifications. (Client requirement)
