Surg Tech CVOR – Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and organizing instruments, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent CST/CST-CV credentials.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
• Experience with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation, sterile processing in the OR, and familiarity with intraoperative monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and nursing staff in a high-acuity operating room.
• Effective communication skills and documentation competency in electronic medical records.
• Preferred: ACLS certification and previous experience in a tertiary or trauma hospital setting.
