About the Role

This position involves operating SMT equipment to manufacture high-quality circuit board assemblies while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production efficiency requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, and reflow ovens
  • Load feeders and components, and run programmed jobs according to work instructions and production schedules
  • Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and output levels
  • Troubleshoot machine issues, including jams and placement defects
  • Verify correct components, lot numbers, and configurations against BOM and build documentation
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
  • Perform routine cleaning of equipment and basic preventive maintenance
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Follow all safety protocols, ESD requirements, and 5S workplace standards
  • Must be available for second shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of SMT equipment operation experience preferred (training may be provided for strong candidates)


Required Skills

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, job travelers, and basic assembly drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 lbs as needed
  • Familiarity with ESD practices and electronics manufacturing standards is a plus
  • Must be a US Person
