Position Summary

The Supply Chain / Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing data and reports that support supply chain planning, execution, and decision-making. This role partners closely with planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to provide actionable insights related to demand, inventory, capacity, and performance. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable translating data into clear business insights.

 

Key Responsibilities Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and automate standard supply chain reports and dashboards
  • Analyze data related to demand, inventory, production, capacity, supplier performance, and service levels
  • Identify trends, risks, and performance gaps; communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Support KPI tracking (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, schedule adherence, forecast accuracy)

Supply Chain Decision Support

  • Provide analytical support to production planning, materials management, and logistics
  • Support S&OP / S&OE processes with data preparation and analysis
  • Assist in scenario modeling (demand changes, capacity constraints, inventory impacts)
  • Support root cause analysis for service, inventory, or execution issues

Data & Systems

  • Extract and validate data from ERP/MRP systems and related planning tools
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
  • Maintain documentation for reports, metrics, and data definitions
  • Partner with IT or data teams on system enhancements or reporting improvements

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and visibility
  • Help standardize metrics and reporting across functions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives with fact-based analysis

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in a supply chain or operations analytics role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Epicor, etc.)
  • Ability to clearly communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Experience supporting S&OP, S&OE, or planning processes
  • SQL or other data query experience
  • APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or interest in pursuing
