The Company was founded in 2016 by Luna Aziz when she struggled with breastfeeding and began growing, grinding and encapsulating combinations of natural herbs to enhance her milk supply. She began selling on Etsy to help other moms and, with the addition of her husband, Joe Feehan, grew the company to an omni-channel company, selling multiple lactation-related products through major retailers, distributors, Amazon and DTC. The company has grown to 35+ employees located at our headquarters in Austin, Texas and our fulfillment and distribution warehouse in east Austin. The Company is heavily focused on new product development and marketing initiatives to meet growth milestones over the next few years.

Role Description

This is a hybrid position that is required to work 3 days per week in the centrally-located Austin office at 5912 Balcones Dr., which would require applicants to live in the Austin metropolitan area. The Supply Chain Planner will oversee demand and supply planning to optimize inventory levels and ensure a smooth supply chain process. Responsibilities include analyzing supply chain data, managing sales channel inventory stock needs, and creating effective planning schedules to align with market demand. The role also involves maintaining clear communication between all stakeholders and identifying areas of improvement within the supply chain forecasting process.

This position will be responsible for the following:

·      Prepare monthly forecasts of future sales on all sales channels based on data and communication with the three sales channel directors and historical data

·      Determine POs for finished goods and timing for those POs and input on PO Tracker for placement by the supply chain team

·      Determine POs for raw materials and timing for those POs and input on PO Tracker for placement based on the FG PO placements and required lead times

·      Understand all production requirements and lead times of all co-mans to determine the optimal timing and amounts of PO placement

·      Understand all herb grow and harvest timelines and requirements for optimal PO placement for raw material ingredient suppliers

·      New product commercialization and launch strategies and monitoring to determine additional POs needed to meet changing forecasts and optimal timing

·      Monitor inventory levels on all sales channels daily and determine and propose inventory transfers between sales channels

·      Monitor inventory levels of all items weekly to determine at risk items that may need additional POs or movement of timing of POs

·      Work with marketing directors to prepare for sales and other marketing initiatives and update forecasting model to accommodate marketing initiatives

·      Balance inventory holdings to ensure lowest risk and lowest cost

This position does not require raw material supplier or co-man management or related communications as those responsibilities are performed by other supply chain roles.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years proficiency and expertise in Demand Planning and Supply Planning
• Inventory expertise in the food and beverage and/or supplement industry
• Omni-channel expertise related to supply planning, including Retail, Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify
• Strong analytical skills to build functioning models to evaluate data and drive decision-making
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with marketing and sales departments
• Expertise and proficiency in Excel and NetSuite
• Ability to work autonomously and stay connected and productive on remote days
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a highly-related field
