Role Summary
This role leads all supply chain activities within a manufacturing environment, including sourcing, planning, logistics, and inventory management. The position partners closely with cross‑functional teams to support production, new product launches, and continuous improvement while driving cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with operational and financial objectives.
- Lead and develop teams across purchasing, planning, materials, and logistics.
- Oversee procurement, supplier negotiations, contracts, and performance management.
- Direct production planning and scheduling to support throughput, lead times, and inventory accuracy.
- Manage supplier relationships and lead supplier improvement initiatives.
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement efforts using recognized methodologies.
- Control inventory levels across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Support new product launches, engineering changes, and customer requirements.
- Own supply chain budgeting, cost reduction initiatives, and capital planning.
- Lead ERP/MRP optimization, demand planning, and S&OP alignment.
- Monitor KPIs including delivery performance, quality, inventory turns, and cost metrics.
- Oversee logistics and freight activities to balance cost and service.
- Support unionized materials and warehouse operations as applicable.
- Perform additional operational support duties as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Strong background in sourcing, planning, and inventory management.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement environments.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems.
