MajorDuties

  • Planning and coordinating the overall daily operations for the Personnel Security section.
  • Assigning investigations, adjudications and other required work to subordinate staff members as appropriate.
  • Reviewing for accuracy and compliance various documents prepared by Personnel Security Specialists.
  • Researching Federal laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines relating to the administration of personnel security programs.
  • Planning and assigning work, setting priorities, advising employees on program goals and objectives, and making decisions on significant and controversial issues.
  • Conducting regular and recurring performance reviews, evaluating work performance, preparing annual appraisals, and award justifications.
