Direction Setting External Awareness Strategic Thinking Managing Risk Conflict Management Advising Knowledge of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDI Act), FDIC regulations and other federal banking laws, including consumer protection, and other laws applicable to/or effecting financial institutions. Knowledge of FDIC policies and procedures governing: the handling of unsafe or unsound banking practices, breaches of fiduciary duties, and violations of law by IDIs, IAPs, and other covered persons; the issuance of stipulated orders; the sharing of CSI and PII; and the handling of complaints related to misrepresentations of deposit insurance and the misuse of the FDIC's name and logo. Knowledge of all facets of administrative enforcement, including the substantive and procedural rules, regulations, requirements, and strategy for effectively investigating and enforcing such actions. Ability to work effectively with attorneys from various organizations to collaborate and coordinate parallel and competing enforcement actions and/or litigations.
