Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Construction team and lead field operations on a high‑profile 354‑unit Class A luxury residential project in Stamford, CT. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of a complex project from the ground up, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, schedule, and execution.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in MEP coordination and out‑of‑ground construction, thrives in a hands‑on leadership role, and is confident managing all aspects of on‑site operations while collaborating closely with the broader project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all daily on‑site construction activities from project start through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, field staff, and trades to ensure adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Oversee the installation, sequencing, and coordination of MEP systems and major structural components.
• Monitor progress, resolve field challenges, and proactively mitigate risks to schedule and budget.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Architects to ensure compliance with design and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety meetings, and quality control reviews.
• Review drawings, submittals, and specifications to anticipate and prevent field issues.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and project documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with local building codes, permits, and company standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10–15 years of experience as a Superintendent on complex construction projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in MEP systems and out‑of‑ground construction.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and safety practices.
• Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proactive problem‑solver with the flexibility to adapt to evolving site conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
