Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking two experienced Superintendents with a project experience in the sheet metal roofing, siding, and ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) industry to join our expanding team. These roles will primarily support our projects at major sites such as Phoenix Sky Harbor and TSMC, with potential opportunities for involvement in other locations depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate successful jobsite project installations in collaboration with Project Managers, Project Engineers, General Contractors, and installers.
  • Mentor and train crews to enhance efficiency, production, and quality.
  • Participate in turnover meetings and all construction meetings mandated by the General Contractor.
  • Forecast material and personnel needs to ensure projects operate smoothly and within budgetary constraints.
  • Verify the accuracy of weekly payroll, ensuring correct costing by personnel, project, and scope of work before submission to the Project Manager.
  • Evaluate employees’ performance.
  • Attend project scheduling meetings to accurately represent upcoming projects in terms of durations and resource allocation, and communicate schedules to General Contractors and field installers.
  • Work with the Project Manager to reallocate additional resources if necessary.
  • Advocate for safety by mentoring, retraining, and enacting discipline if required, while staying updated on regulations to ensure compliance nationwide.
  • Investigate and report accidents and near misses.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent.
  • Proficiency in managing field personnel and working directly with site foremen.
  • Expertise in roofing, sheet metal, and ACM.
  • Strong emphasis on safety with knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to train field crews to enhance their efficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in data center and industrial construction.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.

Work Environment

This is a roaming position across various jobsites such as airports and industrial locations, operating Monday through Friday with a 40-hour work week. The position is salaried and includes access to a company truck, Surface Pro, iPad, cell phone or allowance, and a company credit card. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
