Job Description
The superintendent will ensure safety, understand solar, basic civil, and electrical codes, and act as the eyes and ears on-site, communicating effectively with clients and teams. Physical labor is not expected from the superintendent. A high level of communication is required with both the client and internal stakeholders.

Work Environment
Work will be conducted at a 1-megawatt solar field project in Illinois. This role is a 5 to 6-month contract with the potential for transition into a commercial and industrial portfolio. The work environment is dynamic, part of a full-service clean energy developer and EPC, with projects spanning commercial solar, community solar, energy storage, and EV charging across the U.S. The role promises experience in a fast-growing construction sector with skills transferable across solar, storage, EV charging, and grid-adjacent work. The position offers less boom-and-bust risk than some traditional construction verticals.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Des Plaines, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $49.00/hr.
