Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated summer intern who wants hands-on experience in ERP Data Management, Purchase Order Management, and Supply Chain. This role will support the Supply Chain team with daily procurement and ERP data management activities by ensuring accurate and timely execution of transactional purchasing tasks, including invoice reconciliation, cost updates, purchase order tracking and general systems maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in Supply Chain, Procurement or Operations to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Invoice Reconciliation & Discrepancy Resolution

• Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and receipts
• Identify and communicate discrepancies (pricing, quantity, freight, etc.)
• Assist in coordinating resolution of invoice issues with suppliers and internal teams

ERP Data Management (Fishbowl)

• Update part and product costs based on supplier invoices
• Maintain accurate vendor, pricing, and lead time data
• Support data cleanup and standardization projects

Purchase Order Support & Expediting

• Assist in tracking open purchase orders and delivery dates
• Follow up with suppliers on order status and confirmations
• Update internal systems with accurate shipment and delivery information

Purchasing & Supply Chain Support Tasks

• Assist with data entry related to purchasing and inventory activities
• Support cost tracking and pricing updates
• Help maintain organized records for procurement activity
• Assist with special projects such as pricing reviews or vendor updates

Desired Qualifications:

• Current college student or recent graduate preferred (Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering

or Manufacturing fields preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Interest in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on assignments
• Comfortable working with Excel and basic data entry systems
• Strong communication skills (email and internal follow-up)
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
• Tech-savvy, comfortable with supply chain software, analytics tools, and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, SAP, or similar business systems is preferred. (Fishbowl)
• Basic understanding of purchasing or inventory processes
