As an Intern for Canary’s Legal and Contract Management Team, you will work on projects that will give you practical in-house experience. You will contribute to meaningful projects, work with industry leaders, and participate in other activities to support your personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities
· Canary is seeking an intern to learn and assist in a range of contract administration services for contracts, subcontracts and agreements according to Canary’s policies, procedures and systems
· Working in conjunction with the Contracts Team, the intern will learn, observe, and begin performing responsibilities, such as:
· Provide Contract administrative support- drafting, reviewing, interpreting and negotiating contracts; interpreting regulations and laws to understand the responsibilities and obligations of the contracting parties; maintaining the contract database
· Maintain and update the contract database to ensure it is accurate and to incorporate changes
· Support internal cross-functional meetings (e.g., sales, security, procurement, legal, and accounting)
· Support internal Contracts team special projects (e.g. presentation of training materials).
· Duration is roughly 12 weeks, depending on school summer break
