Arcfield's intern program is designed to provide college students a meaningful, in-person work experience in aerospace-related systems engineering. Our goal is to build a roadmap that leads to a long, rewarding, and successful career. Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing a relevant undergraduate degree.
Program participants will be assigned projects supporting the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as Models Based Systems Engineering, Remote Sensing, Orbit Dynamics, Data Analytics, Modeling & Simulation, Project Management and more. The selected candidates will be required to report to the Arcfield facility in King of Prussia, PA for the 10-week, 40 hour per week internship.
Each intern will have a designated, personal mentor who will assign and guide them through various challenging projects during the 10-week period. The internship will conclude with a final cumulative presentation detailing the projects’ accomplishments. Interns will have frequent communication and interaction with their mentor yet will be expected to execute most project tasking independently and/or in collaboration with other interns.
For college students considering a career supporting national defense and intelligence missions, this internship is a tremendous opportunity for experience solving complex, technical challenges using the latest tools, trends, and techniques.
