Responsibilities

To participate in various studies in LFKRI. Responsibilites include:

  • Prepare for experiments by performing set up instructions per laboratory protocols as well as instructions for the researcher.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness by clearing lab, lab equipment and glassware.
  • Prepare research by organizing research area and chemicals (if appropriate). Following the researcher's instructions and asking questions when instructions are not clear to them. Be aware of all safety protocols within the lab and be prepared to take notes during all experiments.

Qualifications

Education: H.S. Diploma

Experience: 1 year experience in laboratory.

Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow Standard Operationg Procedures.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate $17.00 p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.

Unless otherwise specified, all posted opportunities are located in the New York or Greater Tri-State office locations.
