Summer Intern - IT Solutions Developer

Company: Ardor IT Solutions

Location: Charlotte, NC (8801 JM Keynes Drive, Ste. 400) – 100% In-Person

Compensation: $23.00/hour

Duration: May 2026 – August 2026 (10 weeks)

Target Level: Sophomore/Juniors in Computer Science or related fields


The Mission

At Ardor IT Solutions, we are looking for high-velocity Computer Science sophomores/juniors who want to take ownership of a project from concept to market-ready deployment.

You will have the ability to be a developer on a project designed to solve real-world problems for one of our three pillars: Ardor IT Solutions, Ardor Accessibility, or Ardor Sports Hub.

The Work

As an intern you will develop an individual project from concept to inception and present a share-out at the conclusion of the summer. The team is structured in a collaborative "Think Tank" environment, where you will work with your peers to solve logic hurdles, share AI breakthroughs, and optimize code.

Potential project paths include:

  • Generative AI & LLMs
  • Computer Vision
  • Predictive Analytics
  • System Automation

What You’ll Build

By the end of Summer, you will have developed a fully functional, market-ready project. You will gain experience not just in coding, but in the entire lifecycle of software development, including:

  • Architecture: Designing the logic and flow of your project's solution.
  • Development: Coding and designing functional databases.
  • DevOps & Deployment: Utilizing tools like GitHub for version control and pushing code to live environments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Computer Science majors graduating in 2027 or 2028
  • Experience with Python, JSON, Operating Systems, SQL, Node.js, and HTML
  • AI experience or certification is a plus
  • Collaborative Spirit and Problem Solving
  • Charlotte-Based
