The Summer Housing Assistant reports to the Director and Associate Director of Student Housing and works with the entire Student Housing Team to support the summer day-to-day operations of Student Housing.

Walk and inspect residence halls regularly to check cleanliness, safety, furniture conditions, and proper signage for summer operations.
Check and update signage throughout residence halls buildings as directed.
Assist with camp check in and out throughout the summer.

Follow up on submitted facility work requests and communicate updates to appropriate staff.
Assist with campus recruitment events, including setup, event support, and tear-down.
Move and transport supplies, equipment, and other materials across campus as needed.
Provide general support to the Office of Student Housing.
Willing to participate in photo/video shoots for University marketing purposes in the residence halls and assist in recruiting students in the hall to participate
Assist the marketing department with accessing the residence hall for building photo/video shoots and recruit show rooms as needed
Routinely pushes, lifts and carries materials weighing 20 pounds.
Work with the summer conference linen program.
Assist with Summer Orientation program, which includes room tours, tabling etc.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
