Monroe County Community College’s Upward Bound Program has a part-time summer program English instructor position available. The instructor will provide instruction to rising 9th graders to seniors. Employment dates June 22 to July 31 (no programming July 3 & 6); Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am-3:00 pm in the classroom and Fridays for field trips or online activity. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree with a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and proper endorsements; or a Master’s degree in an applicable subject; teaching experience.Preference will be given to applicants who are former Upward Bound students.
