Summer Dive Coach — Seasonal Position

Location: Hidden Hollow & Knowlton Swim Club
Schedule: Seasonal (Late May – Early September)

Monday - Friday

9:30-3:30

Tuesday & Thursday Meets

We’re looking for an energetic, encouraging, and safety-focused Summer Dive Coach to lead and support our summer dive program. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with kids, building confidence, and creating a fun, positive environment while helping swimmers develop diving skills.

Our summer program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fun, while helping participants grow their confidence on the diving board.

• Lead and coach summer dive practices for children of various skill levels
• Teach diving fundamentals including board safety, approach, jumps, and basic dives
• Encourage participation, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive environment
• Ensure all safety rules and pool policies are followed
• Assist with organizing and running dive meets (if applicable)
• Communicate with parents and participants in a friendly and professional manner
• Work closely with pool management and lifeguard staff
• Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for all participants

• Previous diving experience preferred (competitive or recreational)
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Positive, patient, and encouraging personality
• Ability to enforce safety rules while maintaining a fun environment
• Must be reliable and punctual

• Summer Season (Late May – Early September)
• Practices typically held weekday mornings or evenings
• Occasional weekend meets or special events
