This position is specifically for on-call and scheduled substitute coverage at licensed dayschools and early childhood centers across DFW. When a teacher calls out, you are the professional who steps in prepared, calm, and ready to go from the moment you walk through the door.This is not a background role. You are the face of Agape at every placement. The children know you. The staff counts on you. You show up professional, present, and ready because that is the Agape standard.As you build your relationship with Agape, additional opportunities may become available including church childcare, corporate backup care, and special events.WHAT YOU'LL DOProvide safe, nurturing, age-appropriate care for children ages 6 weeks through KindergartenStep into classrooms and care environments and hit the ground running with minimal directionArrive on time and fully prepared for every assignment no exceptionsFollow all policies, procedures, and supervision ratios at the placement locationComplete the on-site orientation checklist and client sign-off at the start of every shiftKeep all required certifications and compliance documents current at all timesCommunicate your availability and any on-site concerns to the Agape team promptlyRepresent Agape with professionalism and warmth in every interactionAVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTThis is a substitute position placements are based on client need and can include same-day callouts. To be considered for this role you must be available for full day shifts (9am6pm) on a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. Candidates available 45 weekdays are strongly preferred. Mondays and Fridays are our highest-demand days availability on those days is a significant plus.WHERE YOU'LL WORKPlacements are at licensed early childhood centers and dayschools across the DFW metro area.
