Home Base: Juno Beach, FL

Pay: $60-70/hr

Daily Per Diem + Monthly Trips Home

We’re looking for an experienced Substation Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning, start‑up, and turnover activities for large‑scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects across the U.S. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on safety, quality, and reliability—ensuring projects are delivered ready for successful long‑term operation.

Projects are located nationwide (anticipated work in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona), with daily per diem and monthly travel home provided.

• Lead and manage on‑site commissioning, start‑up, and operational turnover
• Coordinate EPCs, OEMs, third‑party contractors, and site operations teams
• Ensure compliance with project contracts, interconnection requirements, and safety standards
• Interface with transmission operators and ISOs to meet energization milestones
• Oversee SCADA integration, protection and controls, and E&I commissioning activities
• Manage on‑site personnel, progress reporting, and quality control inspections
• Partner with safety, engineering, and quality teams to drive successful outcomes

• 5+ years of on‑site commissioning/start‑up experience on renewable power projects
• 3+ years working with an EPC on renewable construction projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical commissioning, NEC/NFPA, SCADA, and P&C systems
• Proven ability to manage contractors, teams, schedules, and site execution
• Comfortable working in dynamic field environments with national travel

• Lead commissioning for high‑impact renewable energy projects

This is a Contract position based out of Juno Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
