STUDIO MANAGER
Location: Oakland, CA
ESQUELETO is looking for an in-house studio manager for our production studio. This is a full-time, in-house position located in downtown Oakland. JOB DESCRIPTION
+ Manage correspondence and production tracking systems for a busy production studio (email, Google Drive, Google Suite Forms & Sheets, production data entry, line sheet maintenance, and more)
+ Errand running during working hours
+ Wholesale account management (fulfilling wholesale orders, invoicing, picking, production, and shipping). Provide excellent customer service to all vendors and outside designers.
+ Assist with product management for all of ESQUELETO's shops (repairs, reorders, etc.)
+ Support the Custom Project Manager + small team of Studio Assistant & bench jewelers with day-to-day clerical + studio-management related tasks.
+ Recurring inventory management for a busy production studio
+ Price new jewelry styles, and regularly audit pricing on existing styles for accuracy relative to current manufacturing costs. Maintain inventory in QBs
+ Purchase order management
+ Quickbooks data entry & invoicing
+ Manage materials inventory and order equipment and tools, working with our network of vendors to ensure timely delivery and uninterrupted production flow
+ Quality control on all jobs leaving the studio per our quality standards
+ Coordinate with outside vendors to complete jobs when necessary
+ Serve as liaison between studio, retail shops, and wholesale reps
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of recent experience working with high value merchandise, previous production management experience is stongly preferred. Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are a must.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Proficiency with Google Suite products
+ Knowledge of QuickBooks Commerce and the ability to manage inventory flow
+ Highly organized, accurate and efficient data entry skills
+ Excellent time management skills
+ Self motivated, hard working, and able to work with a team
PAY RANGE:
$~30/hour +/- with benefits
