The Student Photographer is responsible for visually illustrating campus life by meeting the photographic and video needs of Marketing & Brand Strategy at Bowling Green State University, and assisting in the production of presentations for promotional and informational use by the Bowling Green State University. Contribute to overall visuals and image branding, internal communications and special projects/presentations.

Provide visual coverage of BGSU events and assignments by Marketing & Brand Strategy at BGSU.
Assist the Photography Director, the Visual Content Manager, and the Visual Content Specialist on photo and video related assignments for BGSU and provide visual coverage of BGSU events as assigned.
Work in post to prepare digital files for reproductions, and import collection of images into Digital Asset Management System (DAM).
Document campus life, events, and cover assignments for Marketing & Brand Strategy through photography.
Assist the photographers and videographers in conducting in-house and location photo shoots, set up proper lighting equipment, and enhance the presentation of subjects and products.
Organize and upload photographs and video assets into the DAM system.
Work closely with the Photography Director and Marketing & Brand Strategy production staff to ensure accurate delivery of image files.
Capture images of internal and external University events, faculty, staff, and students for promotional and marketing purposes. Includes coverage of athletic events.
Storage and archiving digital images to the DAM system from assignments generated within the Photography Department.

Student photographer must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Position requires a working knowledge of Mac systems, Adobe Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere), and Microsoft Excel.
Must have work experience with conventional and electronic imaging.
Must have work experience in digital photography for electronic media production.
