Library assistants will assist the Library operations, archives, and mail services, provide patron services associated with Service desk, and provide front-line services in the library MakerSpace.
Working at the information desk, greeting and assisting patrons with locating materials, checking items in and out, and providing basic library information.
Working in the Library MakerSpace as an attendant providing advice and assistance using equipment and materials
Assisting with library operations, including special events, displays, and projects
Receiving, processing, and re-shelving returns, as well as participating in stacks maintenance and inventory projects
Working with library archives materials to assist with digitization projects, special displays, and special projects
Sanitizing, cleaning, and organizing patron areas to promote a welcoming and usable environment
Other duties as assigned
Federal work-study eligible
Good academic standing, customer service oriented, reliable, ability to push/pull 25lbs and enrollment in Professional Experience by Design class
