Structural Engineer – Philadelphia

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a growing team in Philadelphia, supporting the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of building structures across commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports in line with project requirements
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural assessments of existing buildings
• Support renovation, adaptive reuse, and rehabilitation projects
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects efficiently
• Assist in construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and site observations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• EIT required; P.E. license or progression toward licensure preferred
• 3–8+ years of experience in structural design or existing buildings
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, Revit)
• Strong understanding of applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)

Preferred:

• Experience with existing buildings, restoration, or building envelope systems
• Exposure to forensic investigations or condition assessments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and project teams
