Be part of what keeps Buffalo moving! The City of Buffalo is seeking a Street Maintenance Worker to help maintain our streets, infrastructure, and public spaces year-round. This hands-on role includes snow plowing and hauling, street repairs, equipment operation, and general maintenance to keep our community safe and running smoothly.
You’ll operate a variety of equipment such as trucks, loaders, graders, and snow removal machinery, assist with crack filling, patching, sweeping, and storm sewer maintenance, and perform routine equipment upkeep. This position also supports park maintenance and responds to after-hours snow and emergency needs.
Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A or B CDL (or ability to obtain within six months), and basic mechanical knowledge. Experience in street maintenance is preferred.
