The Planet Group is seeking a Strategy & Operations Specialist to join one of our well-known global pharmaceutical client.


  • Pay: $62-67.19/hr depending on experience (W2 and benefit options)
  • Location: Hybrid in Mettawa, IL (T-TR onsite)
  • Duration: 6 mo to start - potential to extend


Strategy & Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Translate strategy into structured, executable frameworks and operating models
  • Translate enterprise frameworks into scalable operating models and workflows
  • Bridge strategy and execution through structured artifacts, requirements, and systems
  • Enable repeatable, cross-functional execution without increasing operational burden
  • Convert strategy into executable workflows and frameworks
  • Design reusable templates, documentation, and operating models
  • Define business and operational requirements
  • Enable cross-functional orchestration (Commercial, Medical, Access, Ops)
  • Build governance structures and support change adoption
  • Leverage digital tools and AI to accelerate execution
  • Design scalable workflows, templates, and repeatable process systems
  • Develop clear, actionable business and operational requirements
  • Create artifacts and structured documentation systems from exec-ready, director level and manager level audiences
  • Enable cross-functional execution through workflow design, governance, and coordination

  • Experience with RACI, training, adoption frameworks
  • Ability to handle problem decomposition and prioritization
