Stormwater Estimator (Turkey SWPPP) | Houston, TX
A well established environmental consulting firm with a growing stormwater and SWPPP practice is looking to add a Stormwater Estimator to its Houston team.
The firm has built a strong reputation in environmental consulting and construction stormwater compliance and is expanding its stormwater services practice due to increasing project demand. This role offers the opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial team and work directly with the Stormwater Practice Director supporting bid development and pipeline growth.
This position is well suited to a junior estimator or someone from the civil construction sector who wants to develop their career in stormwater compliance and environmental services.
Responsibilities
• Prepare cost estimates and bid proposals for SWPPP and stormwater related construction services
• Review civil drawings, grading plans, and project specifications
• Perform quantity takeoffs for erosion control and BMP installation scopes
• Support contractor bid requests and ITBs
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate pricing
• Track and organize bid opportunities and estimate submissions
• Assist with maintaining a strong pipeline of stormwater project opportunities
Compensation & Incentives
• Hourly compensation starting around $25/hour (DOE)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
• Eligible for End of Year bonus based on company performance
• Monthly SPIFF incentive program based on total value of estimates produced
• Additional spot bonus opportunities

Requirements
• 1+ years estimating experience OR exposure to civil construction estimating
• Experience reviewing civil drawings and performing quantity takeoffs preferred
• Background in site development, erosion control, or stormwater construction is a plus
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple bid opportunities simultaneously
