The Big Opportunity

We are looking for a Store Marketing & Partnerships Manager to take ownership of the marketing ecosystem surrounding our Madison Avenue flagship store.

 

This is not a traditional marketing role. It is a highly entrepreneurial, hands-on position focused on embedding Baudoin & Lange into the fabric of New York’s luxury landscape: from clients and tastemakers to concierges, publications, and local partners.

 

Your primary work location will be centered around our Madison Avenue flagship, one of Manhattan’s most prestigious retail destinations.

 

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is deeply connected (or eager to become so) within NYC, and wants to play a key role in building a luxury brand’s presence on the ground.

 

What you will be responsible for

  • Plan and execute in-store events, trunk shows, and private client experiences
  • Build and manage relationships with VIP clients and local clientele
  • Develop close partnerships with hotels, concierges, private clubs, and local luxury businesses
  • Identify and engage influencers, tastemakers, and brand ambassadors
  • Build relationships with journalists, editors, and relevant publications to drive local press exposure
  • Coordinate in-store content creation (photo/video) to support social and brand storytelling
  • Drive initiatives to increase store footfall and local awareness
  • Ensure the store is embedded within the local neighbourhood and luxury ecosystem
  • Work closely with the store team to align on client development and event execution
  • Support CRM outreach for events, activations, and client engagement
  • Track performance of activities and continuously identify new growth opportunities
  • Lead any marketing initiate surrounding the NYC and USA market, from planning to execution

 

About You

You are a highly proactive, highly connected and well-presented individual with a strong understanding of the luxury landscape in New York.

 

You understand New York: where people go, who matters, and how things move. You are comfortable in both structured environments and informal settings, whether hosting a private evening, building a partnership, or making an introduction happen.

 

You are as comfortable hosting an intimate client event as you are building partnerships or reaching out to your existing blackbook and new contacts. You enjoy being out in the market, building relationships, and making things happen.

 

You take ownership, move quickly, and are naturally driven to elevate everything you touch. You combine taste with drive: you care about detail, but you also execute.

 

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • 4+ years experience in luxury, retail marketing, events, PR, or partnerships
  • You have an incredibly strong network with clear ability to build one within NYC (clients, hospitality, media, tastemakers)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
  • A natural host with confidence engaging high-end clientele
  • Creative thinker with commercial awareness
  • Alignment with Baudoin & Lange’s philosophy and brand values
  • Positive attitude, energy, and willingness to go above and beyond
