Store Director - Global Flagship


We’re looking for an experienced Store Director to lead our new global flagship location in New York City.


This is not a traditional store leadership role. You will lead one of Edikted’s largest and most complex store environments, including a multi-layered team structure and diverse customer touchpoints under one roof. You’ll lead through a layered leadership team, balancing big-picture direction with real-time decision making on the floor. This role is expected to operate with the mindset of a multi-unit leader within a single flagship environment.


What You’ll Do

Own a Complex High-Volume Business

  • Lead overall store sales and performance across a high-traffic, multi-faceted environment
  • Set clear priorities and direction, ensuring alignment across different areas of the business
  • Use data, trends, and in-store insights to drive decisions and continuously improve results
  • Balance growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency at scale


Lead Across Multiple Teams & Experiences

  • Direct and develop a team of Assistant Store Directors (ASDs), each owning key areas of the business
  • Oversee multiple teams operating within the building, ensuring consistency in leadership and execution
  • Build a deep bench of leaders who can step into increased responsibility as the business grows


Lead the Flagship Customer Experience

  • Define what exceptional looks like across all customer touchpoints - from product discovery to service moments
  • Ensure the store delivers a seamless, high energy experience at all times
  • Lead from the floor, setting the tone for pace, energy, and service
  • Continuously evolve and elevate the in-store experience to reflect the brand, culture, and customer expectations


Drive Operational Excellence

  • Ensure strong execution across operations, inventory flow, and overall store readiness
  • Maintain a high standard of visual presentation and environment, aligned with brand direction
  • Protect the business through disciplined operational and loss prevention practices and awareness


Act as a Strategic Partner

  • Partner closely with District leadership and cross-functional teams to drive priorities and initiatives
  • Represent the store in high-visibility moments, including leadership visits and brand activations
  • Provide strategic feedback and insight that continuously levels up performance


Who You Are

  • A strong retail leader with 5+ years of Store Manager, General Manager or Mult-Unit Manager experience, operating in high-volume, high-complexity retail environments
  • Proven ability to effectively lead leaders and multiple teams simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategy to execution
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where needed
  • Highly present and hands-on, with strong sales floor instincts
  • Energized by fast pace, people leadership, and building something that stands out
  • Flexible and ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Tech-savvy and confident using retail systems and tools


Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: District Manager
  • Direct Reports: Assistant Store Directors (ASDs)
  • Indirect Reports: Multiple teams across the store (e.g., Store Leads, Sales Associates, etc.)
