Education: High school graduate or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 12 months experience in Sterile Processing or 800 hours of hands on experience in Sterile Processing.
Certifications: Maintain CRCST or CSPDT Certification through HSPA or CBSPD by completing the annual required CEUs. Recommend obtaining additional Sterile Processing Certifications of CIS, CER &/or CHL.
Other: PROF062- Preceptor Workshop Pre-course Curriculum (External New Hires- completion within 6 months of hire.)
Basic computer skills
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must interact with staff and co-workers across a diverse range of disciplines.
Must be able to follow directions.
Must be able to operate equipment.

This position may be required to complete orthopedic tech duties which includes, but is not limited to, placing patients in traction; ordering and charging bariatric supplies and rental beds; and issuing wound vacs.
