The Sterile Processing Educator will be responsible for developing and delivering education programs, training sterile processing staff, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires hands-on experience as a sterile processing technician, a deep understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control practices, and the ability to effectively communicate and educate others.

Required qualifications:
- Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
- Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
- Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
- Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
- 5 years Hands-on sterile processing/Instrument tracking experience.
- 3 years Related experience in the health care field and/or education experience with groups and individuals.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field.
- Master's Degree in Healthcare or related field.
- Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
- Upon hire: Management in Sterile Processing - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- Upon hire: Certified Endoscope Reprocessor - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
- Upon hire: Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- 6 years Education can be replaced with 6 years of sterile processing educator/leadership experience
