As a Registered Nurse in the stepdown unit, you will be responsible for:

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria
Managing post-operative open heart care and critical care patients
Handling chest tube and other drain management
Providing pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips
Assisting with procedures such as chest tube removal and management of temporary pacers
Floating to all units within your skill level as needed

Requirements for this role include:

Need 2 years experience in setting
Post-operative open heart care experience
Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
Active Ohio or Compact RN License
Ability to work every other weekend
