Key Responsibilities
• Provide legal counsel on state and local tax matters across multiple jurisdictions
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of tax laws, regulations, and compliance issues
• Represent clients in tax disputes, audits, and negotiations with taxing authorities
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex corporate and transactional tax matters
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies and risk mitigation
• Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and related documentation
• Maintain direct communication with clients and provide strategic advisory support

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a State & Local Tax Attorney
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California Bar (CA Bar required)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
