Founded in the 1950’s, Osborne Rincon CPAs, a dynamic, full-service accounting firm and the largest and most respected accounting firm in the Palm Springs area, provides audit, tax, and consulting services to diverse clientele. We are currently seeking a hands-on, self-starting tax professional with 3+ years of recent public accounting experience for an important role completing tax and accounting engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Tax Preparation – Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns
- Accounting Services – Assist with engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research and planning, receivables, payables, bookkeeping, payroll, general ledger and financial statements
- Audit work – Assist with financial and compliance audits
- Client Services - Build client relationships and work collaboratively with our clients and tax team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility
- EA designation, CPA license or CPA candidate is a plus
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including experience with individual, corporation, partnership, and trust taxation
- Excellent organization, communication, analytical, client service, and PC skills including Microsoft Office & tax preparation software proficiency (CCH Axcess and Engagement software proficiency are a plus)
- Attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
