About the Role
Coexistence Testing is a major cloud and identity platform focused on delivering coexistence testing services. Our mission is to ensure seamless integration and interoperability across various security platforms, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Join a small, senior team delivering coexistence testing services for a major cloud and identity platform. You'll validate how a leading cloud-based Secure Access solution interoperates with multiple third-party SSE (Security Service Edge) and VPN platforms (Zscaler, Palo Alto, Netskope, Cisco, Fortinet, and others). As the senior engineer, you'll own the technical depth — leading complex test scenarios, driving root-cause analysis on customer-reported issues, and shaping our automation strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end coexistence test scenarios across M365, internet, and private application traffic
- Assist in root-cause analysis on customer-reported coexistence issues and produce actionable findings for engineering teams
- Configure and maintain identity tenants, traffic forwarding profiles, Conditional Access policies, and Private Access connectors
- Stand up and operate test labs across Tier-1 SSE vendor platforms
- Author coexistence solution guides, test matrices, and validated evidence packages
- Represent the team in weekly readouts and serve as the technical escalation point
Qualifications
5+ years in network security, with hands-on depth in at least one major SSE platform (Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, Netskope, Cisco, or equivalent)
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of cloud-based identity platforms — Conditional Access, ZTNA, identity protocols, sign-in log analysis
- Deep understanding of TLS inspection, traffic forwarding, ZTNA architectures, and enterprise network design
- Scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code: Python or PowerShell, plus Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Excellent written communication — documentation that engineering teams can act on
- Comfortable in a customer-facing technical role with senior stakeholders
