Job Responsibilities:
- Create and evolve the UI elements and visual design language for the products we work on by translating product features and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive and beautiful user interfaces
- Communicate ideas visually through sketching, storyboards, and flows in Figma (and other tools)
- Contribute to the development and communication of clear design guidelines, patterns, libraries, and assets
- Actively participate in visual design strategy and product definition, roadmap planning in a multidisciplinary environment with product, design and tech partners
- Foster collaboration to transform requirements into compelling designs that fulfil on the promise of the product
- Develop product knowledge, business and technical expertise
Above all, candidates should be excited and motivated to create next-generation user interfaces applying expertise within the fields of Information Design, Interaction Design, and Data Visualization to develop compelling designs for our products and services.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Have 3-5+ years of UI and/or Product design experience at large corporate institutions, fintech company/startup or digital product agency preferred
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Design with emphasis in one or more of the following: Digital Design, Communication Design, Information Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Motion Design
- Be experienced working in complex problem spaces, enterprise applications, management consulting, or B2B financial services
- Be a cross disciplined collaborator with experience working with Product Design, Visual Design, Research, Tech and Product Partners
- Have a strong portfolio of work emphasizing skills designing highly interactive and data rich applications for interactive products/sites
- Be a team player with a positive attitude. You enjoy collaborating with others to achieve design goals. Comfortable taking and giving feedback to provide the best design solutions.
- Experience with defining and evolving Design Systems.
- Be able to represent the visual design discipline, within a multi-disciplinary product team, when presenting to stakeholders, sponsors, and critics
- Enjoy new design challenges including those involving complex information, data visualizations, and interactivity
