Enterprise Function Technology (EFT) is seeking an experienced Scrum Master. This Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating the scrum process on self-contained scrum teams with minimal cross-functional impacts. Guides the scrum team(s) and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint. Uses empirical data to help the team(s) assess their Scrum Maturity , optimize scrum team velocity to organizational KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance. Proactively removes impediments to team agility and guides the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers. Coaches scrum team(s) to deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met. Partners with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards. Partners with Product Owner to ensure the continuous refinement of backlog, and that sprint goals are understood by the team(s). Facilitates and is accountable for owning the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the scrum team. Partners with Product owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate delivery of work product from the scrum team and escalates key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness. Identifies skills and competencies of scrum team members and makes adjustments accordingly to promote development and highly effective teams.

  • Knowledge of the Independent Price Verification (1IPV) application and function.
  • Knowledge of IPV solutions that require extensive integration between People, Process, and  Technology. As well as, critical internal Risk Management, Collateral Management and Resolution & Recovery. 
  • Ability to develop ad hoc data queries to analyze data and identify deficiencies during testing phase of the project is preferred using business intelligence Software (e.g. Tableau)
  • Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with key business leaders to understand their strategy, align appropriate technology strategy, and collaborate to accomplish mission critical initiatives. 
  • Communicate change effectively with treasury, finance, and various risk groups.  Exhibit practical communication style to converse with vendors, internal technical professionals and senior/executive leadership. 
  • Ensure projects impacting the technology stack are properly scoped and executed to meet business objectives while making sure all projects are on target and on budget.
  • Collaborate with internal business and technical partner teams to improve effectiveness of delivery and reduce/eliminate inefficiencies
  • Optimize development, testing/verification, and development processes for the delivery team. 
  • Maintain strong risk and security compliance for the application portfolio. 
  • Partnering with agile transformation leaders to convey feedback to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Proactively addressing systemic impediments to team agility and guides the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from being blockers.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of practical Agile experience (e.g. Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developer on a scrum team, Project Manager, or Business System Consultant working directly with scrum teams)
  • 1+ year of experience as a practicing Scrum Master
  • An active Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) certification
  • 2+ years of finance experience
  • 2+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
  • 4+ years of JIRA experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Jira software, Confluence software or combination of both
  • 3+ years of experience managing domestic and offshore resources
  • 3 + years of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise wide business initiatives
  • 3+ years of Agile experience


Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 4+ years of client relationship management experience
  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong knowledge of technology with emphasis on the following: development operations, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), (including quality assurance, problem and incident management, configuration management, application infrastructure services (e.g. middleware), platform management, information security architecture, IAM (identity and access management), enterprise architecture, cloud, third party hosted solutions, application risk assessments, information management, enterprise data, CRM services, and books and records)
  • Knowledge and understanding of creation of Screen Mockups using SnagIt or equivalent screen capturing software
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology application development
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
