Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Salesforce Architect

As a Sr. Salesforce Architect in the Business Applications team, you will be responsible for the overall design of our sales and service technology solution. The Architect will closely partner with our business transformation team to design all facets of our application built on Salesforce.com and associate applications, from concept to implementation. The Architect will be able to utilize his/her creativity and innovation to develop new approaches for enterprise application integration, workflow automation, performance optimization and overall management of solutions particularly within the Salesforce platform.

  • Responsibilities
    Define and oversee Salesforce standards and practices, including build / buy configure strategy.
  • Responsible for the design and compliance to the corporate enterprise standards.
  • Plan, guide, and lead the system architecture design/identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or development within the Salesforce platform that will support multiple business units. Guide best practices for security model, workflow, data validation and administration processes.
  • Partner with lines of business to gather, document and develop new requirements into Salesforce.com design and implementation by translating business requirements into creative and effective technical / functional solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, limitations, and implementations of new initiatives
  • Design, develop and maintain complex workflows rules, validation rules and custom workflow
  • Evaluate Out-Of-The-Box options or design patterns that require minimal customization.
  • Define and monitor compliance with code check- in, backup/recovery, and versioning processes, leveraging tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Visual Studio Code and plugins.
  • Use expert hands on experience in VisualForce, APEX, SOQL, Classic, Lightning Web Component, Process Builder, Workflows, Java, C++ and Architecture tools to improve systems.
  • Guide the development of the enterprise data model ensuring data integrity is maintained.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of regulatory (eg. SOX, GDPR, 606, etc.) and security requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in the RFP solutions and present the solutions to the clients

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems or equivalent
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification Required
  • Salesforce Technical or Domain Architect Certification preferred.

Experience

  • 14+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Salesforce Architect experience
  • Strong understanding of overall Salesforce platform and its various product lines
  • 4+ years of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote software) experience preferred
  • At Least 7 years of hands-on experience working on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud on Salesforce lightning platform
  • Experience in in translate functional requirements and business rules into technology solutions and develop a technical strategy and be able to create and effectively demonstrate solutions that address customer requirements in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud involving Integration with other systems.
  • Very good understanding Salesforce product roadmap and ability to compare with other CRM products
  • Very good understanding of Best Practice of Salesforce platform implementations.
  • Deep knowledge in applying both Salesforce declarative and programmatic development capabilities (General Administration, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL/SOSL and Javascript)
  • Experience in designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce.com implementations in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience in working on proposals and building solutions for the clients.
  • Strong understanding of software development (agile), common adjacent systems, and infrastructure
  • Able to manage multiple Salesforce initiatives simultaneously
  • Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver. Can take a problem and express it as stories and tasks for developers.
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional and virtual teams in a matrix environment
  • In-depth understanding of different of processes/ constituents and best practices of project management in order to provide proactive solution for complex situations and execute multiple complex/ critical projects
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both the technology and business communities
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and excels at communicating shifts in prioritization
  • Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
