Sr. Production Test Engineer - HWIC 3rd Shift - CLEARANCE REQUIRED

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Test Engineer to join our team, supporting production testing on complex radar systems. In this dynamic and visible role, you will leverage your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills to ensure the seamless execution of test processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring rigorous testing processes and delivering high-quality, reliable products that meet the standards and expectations of our end customers.


This is a 3rd shift onsite role that includes a 12% shift premium.


Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


What You Will Do

  • Provide test engineering support in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment.
  • Troubleshoot complex radar and array level issues on the production floor.
  • Work from schematics and drawings to interpret RF faults and troubleshoot utilizing common test equipment such as Network Analyzer’s, Oscilloscopes, Power Meter’s and Spectrum Analyzer’s.
  • Perform root cause analysis on systemic radar issues and flow back to feeder areas and/or suppliers to help in the troubleshooting of failed subassemblies.
  • Work diligently with union technicians on a daily basis throughout the test process.
  • Interacts daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control (PC) regarding most urgent immediate needs in test.
  • Review system level test data for compliance toward specifications.
  • Interact with maintenance/test department to keep test stations fully functional.
  • Develop/update factory test procedures as needed.
  • Overtime (paid) may be required on an as needed basis.


Qualification You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
  • (1) year of integration and/or test experience
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, systems, and equipment.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in aerospace or defense testing environments.
  • Demonstrated hands-on electronics aptitude.
  • Prior experience testing complex radar systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret failing test data and navigate schematic diagrams to diagnose fault modes.
  • Ability to understand radar systems technology in the areas of test and analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment.
  • Experience preparing and executing factory test procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements that will require working overtime shifts to support schedule as needed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to identify and document any anomalies or inconsistencies in the radar test process.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Common PDM, using it to look up assembly drawings, parts lists, schematics, and test requirement specifications.
  • Familiarity with CMES/PRISM, to log defects as they are found during test.
  • Operates under minimal supervision and works independently.
