We are seeking a Sr. Production Scheduler the will handle a variety of tasks including analyzing marketing forecast, based on other factors to address(expedite, FTC,) finished goods order quantities, scheduling of multiple product lines across multiple overseas decorators and product suppliers, international communications with foreign suppliers, and coordination of product shipments in support of customer service fulfillment expectations. The individual will also coordinate production schedules, issue purchase orders and purchase releases for finished product in support of the sales forecasts and the goals and the objectives of the organization. Additionally, will maintain records, reports, product and pricing structures, audit vendor invoices, and complete other production and logistics records and reports as needed. Facilitate and may supervise the work of other schedulers as needed, and attend the weekly Critical Products Meeting.
How you will contribute:
- Analyze marketing forecast and schedule production for multiple decorators, products, factories, and finished goods suppliers in support of sales forecast information. (i.e.Foreign Music boxes, Ornaments, Jewelry, Enesco, etc.)
- Communicate daily with International vendors
- Coordinate product shipments to our distribution center in a timely fashion in support of given customer service expectations
- Maintain accurate and reliable records and reports for scheduling and logistics activities
- Maintain accurate and reliable production planning systems information. (i.e. maintains and updates system dates, product quantities, and other vital systems information.)
- Create and maintain product structures within the corporate production scheduling and purchasing systems utilized by the company
- Issue purchase orders and/or purchase releases in support of production schedules as needed
- Audit vendor invoices, expedite product manufacture and shipments as needed
- Supervise the work of others as needed; complete other projects or assignments as needed
- Attend and facilitate meetings and coordinate production scheduling initiatives (i.e Critical Products Meetings, etc.)
- Send out literature, film, back stamps, or other pertinent product information to decorators
What you will bring and skills that excite us:
- 5+ Years work experience, preferably in a Marketing or Purchasing environment
- Bachelors degree in Business, Purchasing, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Highly analytical with with goodattention to detail
- Must be able to understand and demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with material requirements planning systems or other related computer software such as customer service, production, or product design software
- Knowledge and ability to set-up product structures within an MRP system a plus.
- Must be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision
- Individual must be a self-starter and some supervisory experience considered a plus

Compensation:
$60,000 - $70,000
