Caramel, a subsidiary of eBay, is a fast-growing auto tech company founded in 2021 that is redefining the car sale process for independent dealers and private party transactions. Many independent dealers lack access to the tools, partners, and workflows needed to complete diverse vehicle sales efficiently and safely. Caramel empowers dealers with coordinated F&I partners, streamlined administrative workflows covering paperwork, title, and lending operations, and a platform that helps them transact confidently and profitably with consumers across the U.S.

In the Senior Product Manager role, you will manage key aspects of the Dealer product experience. Your efforts will improve how dealers expand their businesses and contribute to the Caramel ecosystem overall. This position requires strong delivery, clear accountability, and collaboration across teams to produce user-friendly, scalable solutions.

You will report to the Head of Product - Caramel, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Business, and the Head of Dealer Services and Dealer Account Executive teams. This is a home-based role with travel for company events, product workshops, and industry conferences.

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead the planning and execution for the Caramel Dealer application. Deliver on key strategic priorities and build a forward-looking plan to achieve our business goals.

  • Build in a fast-moving culture in close partnership with Research, Design,Engineering, and Business leadership.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across Caramel and eBay’s product and business organizations to align plans with partners in the core product and technology teams as well as within the teams across functions: marketing, operations, finance, and strategy.

  • Drive end-to-end execution, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes

  • Work together with nearby product teams to synchronize Dealer experiences with the wider Caramel platform

  • Identify and address operational and experience gaps impacting dealer performance

  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to collaborators

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management or related roles, with ownership of customer-facing features

  • Demonstrated ability to complete a roadmap, delivering products from concept through launch

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to guide decisions

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Build, Analytics) in a collaborative environment

  • Ability to break down complex problems into practical, actionable solutions

  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to align collaborators

  • Experience with marketplaces, seller tools, or operational workflows is preferred

  • Based in the U.S.; comfortable working with distributed teams and occasional travel

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$127,600 - $214,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
