What You Will Do:

You’ll design and deliver dynamic, performance-based training programs that support everything from technical operations to safety and compliance, using adult learning principles and interactive techniques to make content stick. You’ll partner with subject matter experts to analyze training needs, identify performance gaps, and build solutions that improve real-world outcomes. Alongside training, you’ll develop, revise, and maintain critical procedures—ensuring they meet stringent NRC standards while remaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly. You’ll also support records and commitment management, contribute to procedure reviews across the organization, and serve as a trusted collaborator who bridges the gap between technical expertise and effective communication.

We’d love to hear from People With:

  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance 
  • Associate degree in engineering, physical sciences, education or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 2+ years demonstrated competency in technical or instructional analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation or 2+ years competency in procedure development 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, etc) or equivalent
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.
     

A Successful Candidate Brings:

  • 3+ years demonstrated competency in technical and/or instructional documentation and design 
  • Technical training experience in an NRC/DOE regulated industry 
  • Procedure writing experience in an NRC/DOE regulated industry
  • An active “Q” clearance.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.  Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made.  In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government.  Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
