Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Level 4 Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to support the Mission Works Group as part of the GC2S Business Unit within our Business Management organization on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Level 4 Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst will interact with various operating units, business area, and division staff to solve reporting program issues and meet reporting requirements. In addition, the Analyst will interface with program managers, functional management, control account managers (CAMS) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Sets up the cost control system and monitors and controls costs on Various IR&D Efforts
Preparation and processing of Journal Entries
Prepare and submit timely and accurate Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
Prepare, review, and analyze program performance measurement and cost variances
Supports program cost estimate development, customer proposals, and negotiation
Track and manage program billings and cash collections
Basic Qualifications Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4):
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience OR Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 6 years of related experience; Must have 12 years of business, finance, and/ or program control experience in lieu of degree
Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills, specifically the ability to work with pivot tables, lookup functions, and conditional formatting
Must be able to work on-site at location (Huntsville, AL)
Must be able to travel as required (up to 10% of the time)
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with IR&Ds and OTA Contracts
Defense Industry Experience
Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data and figures
Experience with Deltek Cobra and/or SAP (or similar business systems)
Prior program cost control experience
Active DoD Secret security clearance
