Position Summary
The Operations Planner III is responsible for owning and managing MRP planning activities for assigned value streams or product lines to support on-time delivery and stable manufacturing operations. This role ensures planning accuracy, master data integrity, and disciplined execution of MRP signals while translating customer and backlog demand into effective material and production plans. The Planner III works cross-functionally with Customer Service, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure demand signals, planning assumptions, lead times, and system data are accurate, current, and aligned across the planning horizon.

Min. $106,300.00 to Max. $158,700.00MRP Ownership by Value Stream / Product Line - Serve as the primary owner of MRP planning for assigned value streams or product families. - Run, analyze, and maintain MRP outputs to ensure planning signals reflect current demand, supply conditions, and planning assumptions. - Own MRP exception management including planned order, reschedule, defer, and cancellation messages. - Own and document planning assumptions that drive MRP behavior for assigned value streams or product lines. - Ensure MRP performance supports schedule stability, predictable material flow, and delivery commitments. Planning Message & Exception Management - Perform daily review and action of MRP planning messages. - Validate timing, quantities, and need dates of MRP recommendations. - Act as the first line of defense in identifying, filtering, and correcting MRP signal noise before it impacts schedules or execution priorities. Planned Order Management - Firm, adjust, release, or defer planned orders in alignment with production plans and material readiness. - Coordinate planned order releases with Master Scheduling and capacity considerations. - Prevent unnecessary early releases or duplicate demand signals. Demand Management & Order Integrity - Partner with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to maintain accurate and actionable customer demand signals in the ERP system. - Support demand clean-up activities including stale orders, misaligned promise dates, duplicate demand, and invalid requirements. Master Data & System Integrity - Maintain and continuously improve planning-related master data including lead times, order policies, planning BOMs, routings, yield, and scrap assumptions. - Collaborate with Master Schedulers to establish and periodically review planning and manufacturing lead times. - Support audits and data governance initiatives tied to planning accuracy.
