Sr Medical Biller
Job Description
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex patient billing and account issues, collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff to drive timely resolution. Lead daily team operations, including coaching, performance feedback, training, and onboarding of new team members. Monitor call quality, productivity, and performance metrics, using reports and Excel to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Partner cross-functionally with AR, coding, payment posting, and cash operations teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies. Oversee patient account activity such as billing, follow-up, adjustments, refunds, discounts, and payment plans.

Work Environment
The position is on-site in Bethesda, requiring attendance 5 days a week. Work hours are flexible between 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
