Overview

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development and ongoing improvement of automated beverage dispensing equipment. This role combines new product development with sustaining engineering, with a strong emphasis on design for manufacturing (DFM). You will own products from concept through production, playing a key role in scaling designs for manufacturing while maintaining performance and quality in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design using SolidWorks for beverage dispensing systems and components
  • Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives for plastic injection-molded and sheet metal parts
  • Support prototype builds and transition designs into mass production
  • Own product lifecycle from concept through production and sustaining improvements
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and revision control
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and engineering teams
  • Present technical concepts and updates to stakeholders at all levels

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–10+ years of mechanical engineering experience (senior-level preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Experience with DFM and a strong manufacturing mindset
  • Background in plastic injection molding and/or sheet metal design preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and functions
  • Experience with CFD or FEA is a plus

Additional Details

  • Travel: Up to 25% (primarily domestic, including trips to Florida for prototype development)
  • Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000, depending on experience (relocation support available)
  • Interview Process: Initial 15–30 minute screening call followed by onsite team interviews
