Job Description

Sr. Material Handleris responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations in the warehouse/packaging areas including support for production with material flow, inventory control and other general warehouse/packing duties.
The successful incumbent will drive successful safety, quality and delivery metrics through continuous improvement efforts by teaching, training and leading team members.

A Day in the Life:

Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industry
Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
Record and completeaccuratedocumentation according to GMP requirements
Drive safetycultureandqualityinallactivities
Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriate
Workingwithateaminafast-pacedenvironmentassemblingproduct
Participate in the Lean PPI (PracticalProcessImprovement)culturethrough Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/ or Kaizen events

Education:

High school diplomaorequivalentrequired.

Experience:

Required: 2 years of manufacturing or lab or production experience
Preferred:ExperienceinacGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Follow all safety protocols
Drivequalityinallactivities
Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
· Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Ability to work in afastpacedcontrolled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additionalovertimeastheneedarisesfor production schedule adherence
The Clean-room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.
Specific gowning is required including: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.
· Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene
